To tell you the truth, I am not familiar with designer Igor Chapurin. When I saw Naomi stomping down the runway, I knew he is someone I need to know.
The Russian designer is known for his intricate weaving techniques. He weaves straws himself, he sculptures bustier from papier-mache decorated with Venetian lace. He also creates costumes for theatres and movies and he makes exquisite jewelry.
The silhouettes are flirty and sexy without being vulgar. I love the sculptural pieces and the full skirts. If Naomi Campbell is walking on your runway, you must be worthy!
